in 24 hours i will be getting on a plane headed to Philly…from there i will fly from Philly to Frankfurt, Germany…from Frankfurt to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. i’m so excited about this trip, but yet i feel so unprepared. today is packing day, and the list is long. i want to be done before maris gets off of work so that i can take her out on a date before i leave.
i wanted to thank you all for your recommendations on books & music. i still haven’t decided on a book…but you’ve helped tremendously. i will stop by barnes & noble today to see what i can find. now i’m off to buy a case of clif bars & a couple of bags of beef jerky. i’m not sure how the food will be…so i need a backup. more to come.
