we are about to finish up week 5 of camp. we have 3 more to go, and the summer will be over for us. it’s been an incredible summer so far. God is really doing some cool things in the lives of these students. It’s been great to see the transformations that have taken place.
with the end of summer means the end of our 2 month long road trip. the map above is what we have left. we leave roach, mo & go to murfreesboro. from murfreesboro to cedarville oh…then back to murfreesboro. from murfreesboro to panama city beach, fl…then back to murfreesboro. 2,233.18 miles to be exact. that’s almost 37 hours of straight driving. fun times…fun times.
what’s the longest road trip you have ever taken? where did you go? how long did it take you?

I did not realize that you are coming right through my back yard. You are, apparently, going through Montgomery at some point, we are about 45 minutes east of there, and we spend weekends once a month or so down on the gulf coast area where you are going (Alabama side).
Our longest road trip lasted (no kidding) just under 5 years, was approximately 350,000 miles and we visited every stated in the continental usa at least twice. About 12 months into the trip we sold our house and bought a greyhound bus which we made into our home for the next many years.
When we finally stopped traveling we landed about 2 hours south of where we started in southeast Alabama, where we are now.
Hope the rest of your trip goes well, it should be nice and steamy when you get to the gulf coast, probably in time for hurricane season to really get going (haha).
we went from LA all the way to minneapolis over the span of less than a week back when i played music. that was good times
not sure how many miles, but it was a long trip
i dont guess it stacks up length wise with those above me but on a mission trip we went cleveland, ok to Santa Fe, NM and it was 12 hours drive time one way
Does this mean you guys are camping out? If so may I esquire what style of camping?
