today is day 2 at the beach. the ivey boys wanted to go to the pool today, and they wanted their dad to come with them. only one wrong thing with that…dad forgot his bathing suit…so he had to go buy one at the 2 story panama city beach surf shop across the street. you know the ones…they are strategically placed by all of the condos…all of their stuff is double the price of anywhere else…and you can go there and buy anything you want. from sunscreen…to bathing suits…to pooka shell necklaces…to sand in bottle…to condoms…to tampons in which you find the applicators later on at the beach.
aaron found his suit & as he was waiting 15 minutes (actual time) in line to check out …behind a man who was buying 50 panama city beach post cards…i decided to take a few pictures of the things you could buy the next time you are here in the redneck riviera .
here’s aaron waiting in line at minute 7.
i figured since i’ll be here for 10 days…i better look like the locals…so i can fit in a little bit.
below are a few of the wardrobe selections here…for you guys who wear these…you must live a lonely life.
if those shirts aren’t what you are looking for…you can always go visit “surfs up sammy” at the custom airbrush station. he’ll make you any shirt you want.
and what beach town wardrobe isn’t complete without it’s very own custom bowie knife. i guess they need one to open their cans of vienna sausages & those bottles of cheap beer…you know the kind…natural light & milwaukee’s best…aka “the beast”
and if a confederate flag hanging from the back of your jacked up 4×4 station wagon isn’t enough to show the world your love for the south & your acceptance of racism…then you can always scream it from the tops of the mountainous florida waves with your very own “the south will rise again” boogie board. for a low price of $14.99
i hope you enjoyed this segment of bush goes to camp. this is only day 2 of 10…i’m sure many more will come.

wow I am jealous…you rock the redneck quite well…i think it is the beard.
we should get some coffee while you are here.
Will you please get me my own “the south will rise again” boogie board? It would make my year!
hey, isn’t that the surf shop your hot wife used to work at?
mel – done
ginger – i think it is.
Bush… your becoming a local, as a formal local we called it the redneck rivera. We also said we lived in LA… Lower Alabama. Hilarious pics man… I ha*e that gift shop. You should have went to Walmart which does have an air brush guy too for Aaron and ya know it’s overpriced too. Shop in town… much cheaper.
Put the flag down and back away. And I think the rebel boogie boards might give me nightmares.
i bet the next time i see you you’ll be wearing that boobs shirt
