our upcoming adoption is quickly approaching…next thursday to be exact. i thought we would have the necessary funds by now, but we don’t. i’ve tried not to abuse this blog or our adoption blog with requests to help with this adoption. God has graciously provided almost all of the money via people like yourselves. However, we are still about 1/3 short of the money needed. That comes out to be about $4,000.00. I have picked out 12 of my favorite photos in order to try and sell them to help raise the remainder of this money. These prints will be 8×10, and they will cost $35.00. This price includes shipping. If i can sell 140 prints…we’d have the rest of the money!
Thank you guys for your prayers & support throughout this entire process. We are on the home stretch, and could not be more excited. If you can’t afford a print, and still want to help us out…write a post about these prints for sell & the reason i’m selling them & link back to this post…that’d be awesome help! You guys are the best!

Praying for God’s provision!
Great shots!
Congratulations on your adoption! My husband and I are photographers and are also in the process of adopting a child – a little girl from China. We are earlier in the process than you are, and have been encouraged to see your use of photography to raise funds. We would love to hear some of the other ways you have used your gift to raise funds. We are hosting our first fundraiser in October, a Christmas Card Drive. We are confident in God’s call for us to adopt and trust that He will provide. I will pray for you that God will provide these last funds in miraculous ways that truly point to Him as the source! Many blessings!

Bro, don’t be discouraged with the funds issue. We adopted a 3-year old boy from China and I went back and forth on the funds issue, first trusting God to provide then taking over the task, only to hand back and repeat the process about a zillion times. God provided, to the penny, what we needed and two days later the adoption agency called and asked if we could be in China in 10 days. Our God is bigger than the money you still need and he will provide it, in His time. The outcome from God’s work is AWESOME. Ask Jimmy and Laura…or as our new son calls them, “Rock Star” and “Hubba Hubba”.
Mandy and I would love to help by purchasing a few prints. God will continue to bless your faithfulness and I will pray for you and your child.
